Olio Grullo blend was named as a Grande Olio Slow in the 2024 Extra Virgin Olive Oil Guide. An oil that on the nose presents notes of green almond and fresh grass; on the palate, a full body that offers the same aromas, accompanied by a strong spiciness.

Olio Grullo monovarietale moraiolo received a mention in the 2024 Extra Virgin Olive Oil Guide. An oil with a scent that ranges between dried fruit and artichoke, with a well-balanced structure that evolves harmoniously from sweet to spicy.

Gambero Rosso’s Oils of Italy
Our Olio Grullo Monovarietal Moraiolo received the Three Leaves, a product characterized by notes of aromatic herbs, apple, pepper and a persistent green balsamic scent. The Olio Grullo blend conquered Two Leaves, thanks to its hints of artichoke, grass, rocket, almond and pepper, with a persistent green touch.
Berlin Platinum Award
The Berlin Global Olive Oil Awards (Berlin GOOA) are a meeting point between scientific excellence, innovations in food technology and the main players in the sector. Thanks to a consolidated experience over time, this competition defines global standards of credibility, transparency and reliability in the world of olive oil.
Scoring scale: Platinum Award: 96-100 an excellent and unique olive oil. Gold Award: 91-95 is only for a spectacular olive oil, while Olio Grullo is unique!

Extra Quality Olive Oil
Our multi-varietal oil and LECCINO mono-varietal oil were tasted and evaluated by the Il Magnifico 2023 Award panels, obtaining excellent scores. We were elected among the three best IGP TOSCANA 2019 for the IL MAGNIFICO – European Extra Quality Olive Oil Award by a panel of 14 of the greatest professional tasters in Italy, gathered in Florence. Among the members of the Magnifico 2019 Top Panel, there were prominent figures such as Antonio G. Lauro, president of the International Olive Oil Contest, Barbara Alfei, head of the Assam Marche panel, Marino Giorgetti, head of the Sol d’Oro International Olive Oil Competition, and Filippo Falugiani, president of the Italian Association of Oil Restaurants, together with other recognized experts such as Indra Galbo, Duccio Morozzo, and many other prominent professionals in the sector. Our Olio Grullo was selected by FLOS OLEI in the guide to the best extra virgin olive oils in the world for the year 2019.
Bassa acidità, aroma e sapore
Olio Grullo was awarded the Extra Gold Medal at Biol 2017 thanks to its exceptional qualities.
First, its low acidity; then, an intense fruity olive flavor; and finally, a rare balance between sweetness and bitterness, with a medium pungency that makes it pleasing to all palates.
Its most prominent aromas are of spices and aromatic herbs, followed by notes of green grass, flowers, and artichoke.

The panel of the German magazine BioPress, one of the main references in the natural products sector, has awarded us with the 10th place in its world ranking of the Top 25 best organic extra virgin olive oils.
